No, Ascend does not require a membership for on-demand private charter. Anyone can book directly without restrictions or long-term commitments. For frequent travelers, we also offer a bulk credit program, allowing guests to deposit funds on account in exchange for flight credits and added convenience.

Makers Air only accepts Visa, Mastercard, Discover, JCB and Diner’s Club credit cards for online payments.

While Ascend via Makers Air cannot operate flights solely within The Bahamas, we can arrange inter-island travel through our trusted Bahamian charter partners. Our team will handle all coordination to ensure a seamless travel experience, whether you’re flying between island or returning to the U.S.

Scheduled flights with Makers Air operate on set departure times and have other passengers on board, along with standard luggage limits. A private charter with Ascend, on the other hand, is completely on demand. You choose the schedule, the destination, and enjoy the entire aircraft exclusively for your group.
Airport Experience & Day-of Travel

No. Ascend flights operate out of FBOs or private terminals, where your luggage is loaded directly from the lobby or your vehicle to the aircraft. There’s no TSA screening or long security lines, just a quick and seamless boarding experience.

We recommend arriving 15 minutes before departure for international flights and 15 minutes before departure for domestic flights. If you are running late, simply contact your charter specialist so we can coordinate accordingly and ensure a smooth departure.

Ascend via Makers Air operates Cessna Grand Caravans, which seat up to nine passengers in comfort and are perfectly suited for short and regional flights. For longer range or larger group travel, our team can source aircraft through our trusted network of partners, ensuring we match the right aircraft for every mission and destination.

Yes, Safety is our top priority. We hold the prestigious ARGUS Gold Rating, which is awarded only to operators that meet rigorous safety, maintenance, and operational standards through ARGUS’s Charter Evaluation and Qualification (CHEQ) process. Ascend via Makers Air is proud of our impeccable safety record, having never experienced an accident in our history of operations.
Luggage & On-Board Experience

Each ticketed passenger may check up to 50 lbs. of baggage, inclusive of personal items such as handbags, laptop bags, etc. Anything over 50 lbs. will be charged an Excess Baggage Fee of $2.00 per pound and it is not guaranteed to make the flight. Please note that excess baggage can be accepted on a space-available basis only, as determined by Operator on the date of travel. If Customer anticipates having an excess weight of 50 lbs. per person, please contact the airline to discuss options. Any applicable Excess Baggage Fees are required to be paid at check-in, prior to boarding the plane. All checked and carry-on baggage must have outside baggage tags for identification.
